Sydney Wide Same Day Delivery Terms and Conditions -

Effective Date: 1st June 2026

Energy Electrical and Industrial Supplies (Energy EIS) offers Sydney-wide same day delivery services subject to the following terms and conditions.

1. DELIVERY CHARGES

Delivery charges are calculated as follows:

• $1 per km (ex GST) from the Energy EIS Ingleburn store location to the delivery address and back to Energy EIS Ingleburn Store Location.

• Any applicable toll charges will be added to the delivery cost.

• Delivery charges will be advised prior to dispatch where possible.

2. SAME DAY DELIVERY CUT-OFF TIME

• Same day delivery orders must be placed and confirmed by 2:00 PM (Monday to Friday).

• Orders received after 2:00 PM may be scheduled for the next available business day.

• Same day delivery service is subject to stock availability, vehicle availability, traffic conditions, and operational requirements.

3. DELIVERY DAYS

• Standard deliveries are available Monday to Friday only.

• Weekend and public holiday deliveries may be available upon request.

• Customers must contact Energy EIS to obtain a quotation for weekend or after-hours deliveries.

4. UNLOADING AND WAITING TIME

• The first 15 minutes of unloading time at the delivery location is included at no additional charge.

• After the initial 15 minutes, a charge of $10.00 + GST per 15-minute interval will apply.

Additional waiting time charges apply when the driver is:

• Waiting for a customer representative to receive goods.

• Waiting for site access.

• Waiting for unloading equipment.

• Waiting for instructions regarding delivery location.

• Delayed by site conditions beyond the driver's control.

Any part of a 15-minute period may be charged as a full 15-minute interval.

5. PARKING REQUIREMENTS

The customer is responsible for providing:

• Safe, legal, and suitable vehicle access.

• Adequate loading and unloading space.

• Any required parking permits or site access approvals.

Energy EIS will not be responsible for delays, additional costs, fines, infringements, or failed deliveries caused by inadequate parking or site access arrangements.

Any parking fees incurred during delivery may be charged to the customer.

6. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY FOR GOODS

The customer or their authorised representative must inspect all delivered goods immediately upon receipt.

Customers are responsible for verifying:

• Product quantities.

• Product descriptions.

• Product sizes and specifications.

• Product condition.

• Any visible damage.

Once the delivery has been accepted and the Energy EIS delivery vehicle has departed the delivery location:

• No claims for shortages, missing items, incorrect quantities, or visible transport damage will be accepted.

• The customer's signature, verbal acceptance, or acceptance by site personnel shall be considered confirmation that the goods were received in satisfactory condition.

7. FAILED DELIVERY ATTEMPTS

If the delivery cannot be completed because:

• No authorised person is available to receive the goods.

• Site access is unavailable.

• Delivery instructions are incorrect.

• The customer requests rescheduling after dispatch.

• The customer refuses delivery without valid reason.

Then:

• Return transport charges will apply.

• A full two-way delivery charge may be charged for the failed delivery attempt.

• A new delivery charge will apply for any subsequent delivery attempt.

All additional charges must be paid before redelivery is arranged unless otherwise approved by Energy EIS.

8. DELIVERY TIMES

Energy EIS will make reasonable efforts to meet requested delivery timeframes; however:

• Delivery times are estimates only.

• Energy EIS is not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, accidents, road closures, supplier delays, vehicle breakdowns, or circumstances beyond its control.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Energy EIS shall not be liable for:

• Consequential losses.

• Loss of profit.

• Project delays.

• Labour costs.

• Contractor downtime.

• Costs arising from delayed deliveries.

Maximum liability shall be limited to the amount paid for the delivery service.

10. POLICY CHANGES

Energy Electrical and Industrial Supplies reserves the right to amend, modify, update, or replace this Delivery Policy at any time without prior notice.

The latest version of this policy will apply to all deliveries performed by Energy EIS.
