Product Description

The HNS060MD is a passive infrared (PIR) motion detector designed for use with S-Click 3-wire timers. This PIR sensor offers hands-free switching and ensures that lights remain on while the area is in use, preventing them from timing out unnecessarily.

Key features include:

• Detects motion up to two metres away.
• Continuously restarts the timer as long as motion is detected within range.
• Automatically turns off lights after a pre-programmed time once motion is no longer detected.

This functionality delivers effective power savings without requiring manual timer resets.

Applications and Compatibility

This motion detector is ideal for areas that lack natural light, such as:

• Bathrooms
• Storerooms
• Laundries

It prevents lights from timing out when the area is occupied and ensures that lights are never accidentally left on when not needed.

The HNS060MD must be used with one of the following S-Click 3-Wire timers:

• HNS440TM - 3-Wire Minute Mech Timer
• HNS450TM - 3-Wire Hour Mech Timer

Additionally, it fits into standard HPM and Clipsal face plates and includes matching lenses.
